I just recently purchased a Mac SE/30 and have tried to unsuccessfully play a few games on it that seemed to have worked on my Mac Plus just fine. The games are Arkanoid, Leaderboard Golf, and Apache Strike. Apache Strike and Arkanoid both boot up and come up to a screen that says something to the effect of, "This program is unable to use the screen and sound buffers. Try turning off all INIT, etc..etc... thingymabobs and run this program again." I have tried this and it still gives me the same message. I've even tried running those two programs from a floppy with no luck. Leaderboard Golf on the other hand boots up fine and allows me to swing my clubs about 2-3 times and then just freezes. Any help would be appreciated. (BTW, I don't have the games manuals with me here at college for reference or company numbers.) Thanks in advance, Dan Church dansnsr@nmtsun.nmt.edu
