I'm trying to ftp the OzTeX files from tank.uchicago.edu. I can get into the correct directory, and I can transfer the README file. But when I try to get the other files, I get "550 not a plain file" even if I first give the command "binary" at the ftp prompt. Does anyone know what the trouble is? Should I be setting some parameter or protocol in ftp? Thanks for any help. Steve Goldfield College of Engineering
