(I've posted this problem to comp.lang.postscript but forgot to post here) Hi, we've been having problems printing documents written in MS-Word v4.0 on our Dataproducts 1260. Seems that the prolog that comes with MS-Word makes the DP1260 very unhappy. The first error we get is invalidaccess (setdefaulttimeout) which suggests that it is trying to access the Serverdict (I think, I'm not a Postscript expert) but isn't sending the correct password. I could try to hack the prolog (to send the password), but suspect that there are going to be other problems and that someone else has had this problem and may have a working prolog. Microsoft product support has been unable to help us, but I suspect that the net will be able to solve all of our problems. So, if anyone has experience printing on a NON-Laserwriter that they would like to share I'd be most grateful. Working prologs are gladly accepted. Hints and suggestions are likewise useful. E-mail is preferred since I don't read this newsgroup, but if you have to post, post and I'll check in from time to time. Thanks, Glenn Sueyoshi gtsueyoshi@ucsd.edu ucbvax!ucsd!keynes!glenn gtsueyoshi@ucsd
