I am using system 6.02, a Mac SE with 1 Meg ram and 20 meg HD. Normally one opens Font/DA Mover, opens the system or DA file in one window, opens the new DA to be copied in the other window, highlights it, clicks on the copy to button and the DA is copied into the other window. This usually happens with me too except lately: WHEN I CLICK ON SOME DA's TO BE MOVED THEY WON'T APPEAR IN THE WINDOW SO I CAN HIGHLIGHT THEM TO COPY ... !! The name does appear below the window. I have even tried double clicking on the DA to be moved but the same thing happens. Does this mean that the DA is not compatible with system 6.02 or what ?????? I have found that in this case DA's with the number "12" do not appear in the Font/DA Mover window( you have to "close" the Suitcase file from Font/DA juggler first of course). If you start-up without Font/DA Juggler then all is well. Perhaps its because Font/DA Juggler does some mucking around with the DA nos. to avoid number conflicts.... "12" is a common number for DA's...Its the default from Think C for example. Jim Meiss jdm@euclid.Colorado.edu
