Saiid Paryavi was asking about putting a hard disk inside a Mac Plus. While I agree with the general sentiment that ran throughout his summary -- "don't do it" -- I wanted to pass this piece of info along: On page 38 of the November MacUser magazine, top left corner, is an ad for iDS Systems, Inc., Koll Bayshore Bldg., 2107 N. First St. Suite 280, San Jose, CA 95131 1-800-733-0078. They advertise a 20 meg internal drive for the Plus for $595, and I believe the small print says their drives are available from 20-100 megabytes. The ad isn't real informative, more artsy-fartsy than anything else, but it caught my eye--mainly because, in large type at the top of a basically empty ad space, they say "finally, internal hard drives for the Macintosh Plus". I'd say, to be completely informed on the subject, give them a call and ask them all the questions/problem brought up in your summary. --Adam-- -- Adam Frix via cmhGate - Net 226 fido<=>uucp gateway Col, OH UUCP: ...!osu-cis!n8emr!cmhgate!200!Adam.Frix INET: Adam.Frix@f200.n226.z1.FIDONET.ORG
