There's been some talk of the system beeping when trying to open DAs under MultiFinder. CW sez, the system beeps when either DA Handler isn't in the System folder, or when there's not enough memory available to open the DA in. Now, Daniel McKinnon III reports getting a beep _every time_ he opens DAs under MF. I just upgraded to 2.5 megs in my Plus, and lo and behold, mine does the very same thing. As Disinfectant 1.2 reports no anomalies, and Mr. McKinnon reports the same behavior I'm experiencing, I assume this is a normal function. Please note: I'm using MultiFinder 6.1b9, the wonderful MF that includes the Set Aside feature. My question is, is this beeping on opening DAs under MF a normal function? If so, what is going on to produce the beep? Thanks for any help. --Adam-- -- Adam Frix via cmhGate - Net 226 fido<=>uucp gateway Col, OH UUCP: ...!osu-cis!n8emr!cmhgate!200!Adam.Frix INET: Adam.Frix@f200.n226.z1.FIDONET.ORG
