[comp.sys.mac] MacWrite II problem--tab leading

pj@pnet51.orb.mn.org (Paul Jacoby) (10/07/89)

I think I've found a problem in MacWrite II 1.0v2 with tab leading. I have a
document which looks fine on screen, but prints incorrectly.
On screen, I have a Helvetica 12 point document, one column wide. I have one
left-justified tabset, which has a leading character of "." Eight lines in a
single paragraph format use this tabset, and the leading shows up just fine on
the screen.
However, when I print, the leading "."s continue underneath the text at the
tabset. They appear to protrude about 1/8" too far.
Has anyone else seen this? I am running on an SE/30, System 6.0.3,
MultiFinder 6.1d6, ImageWriter direct connect 2.7, and a bunch of INITs. Any
feedback is appreciated.
