[comp.sys.mac] Jasmine - a turn for the better?

At last a success story relating to Jasmine hardware support. I had a
100Mbyte backpack whose SCSI cable (internal flat ribbon) had been installed
across its retaining pins severing the cable at one point and allowing it
to tear through a conductive channel. One phone call to Jasmine - on hold
forever 2nd phone call got a message operator (overflow at 4:45pm).
I left a message, certain that no return call would be forthcomming.
Next morning I got a call from a very helpful Tech Support
rep who found the part I needed and shipped it out THAT DAY. It arrived
2 days later and my disk was back in working order that day.

Well done Jasmine (I wish I had the name of that tech rep - I'd publish
it here in CAPITAL LETTERS).

Ps I've no connection with Jasmine other than I like their product - now if
they could only fix the volume control on the backpack modem.....
