[comp.sys.mac] Problems compiling mcvert on Unix SYS V

(I am not a programmer, I am "taking dictation" here)

We got the mcvert.shar from sumex-aim.Stanford.edu and are having
trouble compiling the whole works under SYS V.
(we want to convert BinHex 4.0 to Mac useable stuff)

Problems we have encountered:

1) No SYS V equivalent to sys/timeb include file. It is possible
to eliminate this in favor of time(2) and some hard-coded values.
(this seemed to solve some problems, and uncover others)

2) There are two undefined functions called in mcvert.c and
unpack.c (and maybe more). They are called bzero and bcopy.

There may be other problems, but this is as far as we got.

Also, I do not have ready access to ftp (I can, but it takes a
concentrated effort)....

Any help is appreciated

Thanks in advance

Please send responses to address in .sig
