I am running into a problem when playing SimCity. Whenever my city grows to ~20,000 people, the citizens demand a stadium. Because I do not have the money to build a stadium, citizens start leaving the city. Now I have to lower taxes to get them to come back, and exhaust any funds that I have saved up. Can anyone give me any strategies or tips on increasing revenues? I know SimCity was discussed before, so please E-mail responses in order not to waste bandwidth. One way to overcome this problem is to use the Embezzle Funds command. To do this, hold down the shift key and type F U N D, then click on the bulldozer icon, and $10,000 should be added to your city's funds. I think you can do this as much as you want, but in the newsletter that described this command, it said to be careful because there were some Simcity I.R.S agents looking for simulated embezzlers, but to date I have had no problems with the IRS. Also, you can (if you have enough cash), simply build an airport. This slams about 50,000 into the coffers. Trash the airport,build another one, and you're up 90,000 (50,000 from this plus 50 from before minus 10 for the airport).
