A friend of mine bought a Lisa, and would like to find out
information about it. Topics of interest are:
1. He doesn't have a mouse or manuals -- how can
he get these?
2. He wants to know if there are any Lisa user's
groups he could get in contact with, especially
locally (in Austin, TX).
3. As far as the hardware goes, is the Lisa a good,
stable machine?
4. How can you expand/modify it?
5. Is there any software support for the Lisa?
6. He has vaguely heard of a Mac emulation package
for the Lisa -- is there such a thing?
7. Does anybody know all the dirty details of why
the Lisa failed?
Any useful information would be appreciated. Please do not
expect replies right away if you send a message, because
I am going to forward them to him and let him reply if he
wants to.
Please, no flames -- I had nothing to do with him buying
this dinosaur!!!!
