Could some knowledgeable netter help me with a problem with MS Word 4.0? The problem is receovering a file after a system crash. I noticed that the file containing the changes is stored in the System Folder as a Word Temp file. How does one recover these changes ? The recovery procedure is not outlined in the manual :-(. I would appreciate it if you could e-mail your suggestions. Thanks in advance -- Dinesh K. To open a Word Temp file (and thus recover a document after a crash), hold down the shift key while choosing Open. This will display a list of all files (even including applications) in the dialog box and allow you to open any of these files as a text file.
