[comp.sys.mac] Does ImageWriter work with IBM PCs?

mha@batcomputer.tn.cornell.edu (Mark H. Anbinder) (10/14/89)

Is it possible to use an ImageWriter or ImageWriter II printer with
an IBM PC or compatible? If so, what cable connections and DIP
switch settings are required?

Please respond via e-mail... I'll summarize to the net.

Try Orange Micro. Years ago I bought a board from them to put in the
ImageWriter II that made it Epson compatible. That was my first printer
for my first PC. Worked out well when I switch to Mac a couple years later.
Price at that time was about $129. I don't remember if the cable was
extra.
