[comp.sys.mac] French spelling checker

Is there any way to get a French dictionary for MS Word 4.0? I'm getting
_really_ tired of proofreading French documents by hand, but my volume of
documents doesn't justify the purchase of the French edition of Microsoft
Word. Is it possible to use the French dictionary with the regular U.S.
program? Or is the search algorithm different?

Thanks folks...

As far as I know, Microsoft's position on this is still that you have
to buy a copy of the French edition of the software. At least that
was what they said when I complained about this last spring.

Mine does, but not the purchase of both French and English (I work
about equal amounts in both languages).

No. I tried this.

According to what I was told by Microsoft, the dictionaries are coded
very differently and cannot be read by other versions of the program.
Apparently redoing them is under consideration but will never happen
unless enough of us complain. This alone is nearly enough to make me
buy Nisus...
