I just had a thought on this whole business about windows popping to the front and obstructing another window that you want to get to. The reason why the windows get in the way is that the window gets brought to the front on a mouse down. Every application does this without fail. However, if the window doesn't get brought to the front until the mouse up occurs, all our problems would be solved, right? Of course, this is so obvious and simple a solution that there's got to be something wrong with it. So what's wrong with it? I dunno. Any ideas? _______________________________________________________________________________ Dean Yu | E-mail: mystone@caen.engin.umich.edu Self-declared License Czar | Real-mail: Dean Yu University of Michigan | 909 Church St Computer Aided Engineering Network | Apt C INCLUDE 'Disclaimers.a' | Ann Arbor, MI 48104 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
