My SE/30 (80 meg) failed to boot again over the weekend until about five
power ons. It was rainy and high humidity so I was not surprised. Monday
at FileNet another SE/30 failed to boot. The hardware tech that looked at
it said the ROM fix would not have helped this drive. It was completely
locked up. After he manually got it started, the girl that uses this machine
said she'd never turn it off again.

When my boss called Computerland they didn't have a clue about how to handle
the fix, and they didn't have any ROMs. So I guess we're both waiting to
see if anything else develops.
