Folio Corp. recently released an excellent text database manager, which completely indexes an ASCII file (giving the user access to an alphabetical list of every word in the text database), compresses the ASCII file to 60% of its original size (incl. index), supports boolean, wildcard, nested, and proximity searches, etc. Unfortunately the Mac version is 18 months distant (read never). Is there anything at all comparable available for the Mac? I specifically need something that will instanteously search an indexed file up to 20 Meg in size (as does Folio's program). Mark Rooks
