I am very interested in finding something that will let a user print text from a FileMaker report into a disk file, so that the file can be sent over a modem connection. What would be ideal is a chooser device that the user could select, just like selecting the LaserWriter, ImageWriter, or AppleFAX Modem resource, and then use Print from the File menu, to send the output into an ASCII text file. If someone has such a thing, or knows of a commercial product that will solve the problem, please e-mail me as soon as possible! Please don't send follow-up postings, just use e-mail. I'll submit a posting to the net if there's any interest. -- Mark H. Anbinder ************************** mha@tcgould.tn.cornell.edu BAKA Industries ** (cornell!)biar!memory!mha 200 Pleasant Grove Rd. Well, we found an answer to the question, and I'd also like to thank Gerald Edgar for offering help. SuperGlue will allow you to save text to a disk file, in addition to saving a complete image of the document being printed. -- Mark H.
