First let me thank all of the people who suggested using the position command for placing graphics in Word 4.0 -- it works great except... If I have a page with 2 paragraphs which each fill half of the page and I insert a large (8" x 10") graphic between the paragraphs which is positioned to be in the center of the page...I get the first page with the first paragraph, the second page with the graphic, and a third page with the second paragraph. In other words the text does not flow properly around the grahpic (IMHO). I called Microsoft and they said "...there's no way to do what you want to do..." This brings me to my real question: I am in general rather unsatisfied with the performance of Microsoft Word/Expressionist for doing technical word processing. Is there a better way to create technical documents on the mac which incorporates WYSIWYG (at least to some degree) with a reasonable interface for creating equations? I also need to include graphics in PostScript (created on Unix) and graphics created with a PostScript drawing program (e.g. Freehand). Please E-mail responses and I'll summarize. Thanks --dch
