I read in this weeks MacWeek that Conectix has lowered the price of the Virtual Init with the PMMU to $175. Since I have to buy a PMMU anyway (at least in preparation for system 7.0), and since they cost $200 I am considering doing the Virtual route for the extra $75. Can a few of you WHO HAVE BEEN USING VIRTUAL please let me know what you think about the product. I know this has been discussed before so please e-mail to me. Is Virtual worth $75? Does it do anything that won't be possible in 7.0? Will 7.0 do anything that virtual won't do? I have a MacII, 5megs memory, 90meg HD... Virtual with PMMU costs $275, according to MacWeek, not $175. Still, it's a bargain when compared to previous cost. I don't get MacWeek, and I can't find Virtual or Conectix in any of my mail-order catalogs, or in ads in MacUser. It sounds like something I want for the Mac IIs that I and a friend have. Help?
