Someone recently mentioned they got an "official" patch for the scanf bug in THINK C off some information service. I found it on compuserve. It's a stuffit file with a program called "Weaver" that is some sort of automated source(text) file changer. I assmume is works something like sed or awk (from UNIX). Anyway it has a script to fix the bugs in the scanf source(s). I don't know when it will get to sumex or binaries - has anyone sent it to them? In the meantime you can grab it off my machine via anonymous ftp. If you can't ftp - I can try to send it via email. My machine is: thylacine@cs.wisc.edu (128.105.1.208) it's in the pub directory in two formats - a binary .sit file and a binary .sit file that has been binhex'd and then UNIX compressed. Pick whichever format is more convenient. -ME
