[comp.sys.mac] Do you want the new Moose 2 too?

I recently posted a question on Talking Moose II to the net, and
received several requests for information on obtaining a copy. Rather
than replying individually, I am posting this, as it should be of
    general interest.

The main features of the new Moose v2.3 are :
the program now runs as an INIT/CDEV combination
he speaks : pull-down menu selections
		    window titles
		    dialogue and alert messages
		    after pauses
the alarm clock time on startup + shutdown + change disk
there are extensive customisation features, both as to the
	'presentation' of the Moose, and when and where and what he speaks;
both at the desktop level, and within individual applications; all
explained in detail in over 100k of accompanying documentation
a suite of Moose utilities, available either from the Control Panel or
    	as a separate application
Moose Proof sentence tester and proofreader DAs, and a Phonemes DA
(including ResEdit TMPLs for editing the new Moose resources)
MultiFinder and colour Mac II compatible

    The disk also includes:
	15k of Moose phrases
	Talking Finder installation script
MacinTalk driver and Macintosh system file

Please note that Moose 2 is no longer public domain software. You can
obtain the latest version of the Moose for $20 from the programmer:

    	Steve Halls
    	#303, 3837 Luther Place, Saskatoon,
	Saskatchewan, S7H 4B1,
	Canada.
    	    phone (306) 374-6052

(Living in the UK, I sent $25, allowing for overseas postage.)

The basic application can be installed and customised in half an hour or
less (not counting the time to read the documentation first - always a
good idea), but you could easily spend weeks playing about with all the
application and Finder customisation features. So *be* *warned* (if you
want to get any work done), and have fun!
