Well, thanks to the several people who clued me in that the way to make this init work was to press Command-Tab while selecting a file in a background window. Problem is, it does not work for me. I get the tab key repeating, the background window comes to the front, and the tab characters rename the file into something I did not intend. The RearWindow icon shows last of all icons on startup (I have about a dozen inits, and FreshStart has this one last.) I suppose it might be a conflict among inits, but I was wondering if anyone has any ideas what might be going on.

Just as I finished posting the previous article, I got mail indicating that there is a RearWindow MF, which I need if I run MultiFinder, which I do. Anyone know how I can get THAT beast?
