Any details? I saw a product called Chroma-32 from Discovery Software that will do exactly that. They provide the filters and scanning/editing software for $595. The demo was fairly impressive but it was obvious that the software wasn't quite finished. They are supposed to release at the end of November but you can but an initial realease now. Personally, I was kind of wishing for something cheaper, but if the editing software is any good I might go for it. BTW, with the Apple scanner, you only get 4-bits per pixel instead of 8-bits per pixel so your color output will not be as good.
