There have been a number of queries recently here about where one can find various programs (shareware, freeware, demos, old comp.binares.mac stuff). One of the largest archives of such Macintosh software is on a computer at Stanford called "sumex-aim.stanford.edu" which is accessable via anonymous FTP over internet. The software is in a directory entitled "info-mac". Additional information about sumex, and how to get stuff out is available in the help subdirectories under this info-mac directory.
