We have been told that the MAC SE-30 cannot run A/UX. However we are under the impression the the hardware is the same. Can anyone confirm that A/UX will not run on an SE-30 and why? Daryl Monge att!ihuxy!daryl

A/UX version 1.1.1 was recently released, and its primary purpose in life is for compatibility with the Macintosh IIci and the Macintosh SE/30. A/UX 1.1 actually can run on the SE/30, but it is unsupported for various reasons. -Dave -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Dave (Gimme more MHz) Wells, Apple Computer, Inc. AS of the latest version (1.1.1), Apple DOES support AUX on the SE/30. Simply put, the latest version of A/UX DOES run on the SE/30.
