I've been using a New AppleColor 13" monitor on my SE/30 with a SuperMac ColorCard SE/30. The combination seems to work great! I LOVE color. The problem is with my monitor. My first monitor had a red convergence problem in the lower right corner of the screen. The rest of the screen could be adjusted to pure white. I returned the monitor and got a new one. This monitor is adjustable to an almost uniform white except for about 75% of the top line. Either there is a slight red, or slight blue shadow, the other 25% can be set pure white. I've been told the monitor needs to be completely re-adjusted to fix this. Is this normal? Has anyone else had this problem? I would think I shouldn't have to even touch the convergence on a new monitor. I also want to send my thanks to SuperMac, the manual details installing the card on your kitchen table using standard household items with the exception of my favorite T-15 Torx. Of course after all of the hand holding it said that the installation should only be performed by a dealer. -- Neal E.
