A friend of mine has a Mac 512ke, and he wants to upgrade it to at least a meg. Now's the time he can afford it since 1meg SIMMS are getting cheaper by the minute. What he's not sure of is whether the 512ke can be expanded beyond the 512k that's in it. Does anybody know FOR SURE? He's not interested in the boards you can attach to the motherboard - he can't afford that stuff. He's only interested in popping the case and slipping in a couple of SIMMS (the 1-meg type. He'd buy 2 or 3 meg if it'll fit) Also, what sorts of hard disks can be attached to the 512ke? PLEASE respond only by e-mail, as I don't read this group AT ALL. Thanks.
