Hoping to find some advice on hooking up my IWII to my 386. I made a cable based on the pins listed in the IWII manual, but no good. The manual says it's RS232....but the "Technical intro to the Mac Family" book says Rs422 for the printer port. Please mail & I'll post. Cliff Heyer

All mail said its easy to do. So I fussed around and figured out that my 386 serial card expects pin 5 CTS to be used or the card will not work. The MAC Imagawriter pin outs don't show CTS. I hooked CTS to DSR in the 25 pin connector and then it worked fine. Please advise me if this is dangerous for some reason! Cliff Heyer
