[net.music] J. J. Walker question and jazz question.

A couple questions someone might know the answer to, incompatible as
they might be in the same article.

Does anybody know if anything was put out by Jerry Jeff Walker prior to
"Driftin' Way of Life". This album predates his later Texas image, and
certainly has the proper title, to say the least. I would like to know
if anything else of his from this period can be found, especially since
he'd written "Mr. Bojangles" before this, probably his best.

I have an album on "Clef" label cut back in prehistoric times, I think, and
titled "Jam Session #4". It features Count Basie, Stan Getz, Buddy Rich,
Wardell Gray and other notables. I've seen the thing around as a Japanese
reissue, and I want to know: how many are there in the series? who's on them?
are they being reprinted also? reccomendations?

My tastes are nothing if not catholic (small c)
