I have a MacCrate 80 meg hard disk, which is actually a Seagate 296N.
I seem to manage to crash the partition table on the drive once in awhile.
I know its not a hardware problem, but due to some of the software I play
around with, russian roulette at it's finest!

After the table crashes, the drive won't mount, at all. Not even
reinstalling the drivers will correct the problem. I have the drive
divided up into 2 partitions, if I delete the first partition and reboot,
the 2nd partition will mount undamaged. Before I delete the first
partition, I can go in to it with SUM and recover everything thats there,
but it is a pain.
So what I need is a utility that will rebuild my partition table without
having to reformat the drive. Is this possible? If so, anyone have a
utility that does this?

Thanks!
