Since Shugart got bought out, we ended up with a number of surplus drives
that we can't use in our product. The savings is yours.
We have several cases (20 drives each) of new ML2 SA300 drives
with service manual. Asking $90/each, or $75/each in lots of 5 or more.
We also have several "non-working" drives with unknown problems for parts
at $40/each.
These drives are compatable with standard 5-1/4" SSDD controllers -- IE
they look like 80trk single sided drives with 250kbit mfm data rates.
I have two on my TRS-80 with no problems. Use with the little CP/M board
for a TINY desk top system.
They are not MAC compatable since they DO NOT have variable speed spindles.
