Does anyone know of a print spooler that works with the DeskWriter? (or a planned future print spooler?). thanks. -andrew p.s. I just got a deskwriter (yesterday). So far I'm very happy with it. It has worked without any hitches (unlike the Laserjet IIP with MacPrint) and the print quality is very nice. The only problem I've had is that the ink can smudge if you don't let it dry for a few seconds before handling it.

Andrew, There are no spoolers that directly support the HP DeskWriter. We are looking into the POSSIBILITY of supporting it in the future, but we're not making any promises. We have been told by GDT Softworks that their JetLink Express driver software is compatible with SLS 2.0 and the DeskWriter, but we have not confirmed this. Fabian Ramirez SuperMac Technology

Steve, >SuperMac's updating SuperLaserSpool to work with DeskWriter. >When? Not sure, probably "Real Soon Now :-)" Oh REALLY...that's news to me. As I've mentioned previously, SuperMac is looking into the POSSIBILITY of supporting the HP DeskWriter, but at this time, neither SuperLaserSpool or SuperSpool will directly support the DeskWriter.
