There are a few chess games for the Mac, but how strongly do they play ? Does anyone know the chees ratings for any of theese games? I'm not sure, but I think Kasparov has a rating of about 2500. Thanks Sigge kjr@kkeka1.ericsson.se

A while back somebody posted a comparison of Psion Chess, Sargon III and Chessmaster 2000 to rec.games.chess. As I recall, he said Psion Chess was the strongest microcomputer program he'd ever seen, but I don't think he gave a rating. All these programs let you vary the strength of your opponent. I've had Psion Chess for about three years and have been very happy with it except that it won't install properly on a hard disk. Nice graphics, lots of good features (including menus in your choice of seven languages) and pretty good play. > Thanks Sigge > > kjr@kkeka1.ericsson.se > You're welcome. *************************************************************************** David Graham dgraham@kean.ucs.mun.ca ***************************************************************************
