My almost new Jasmine DirectDrive 100 has been away for repair so long that I've forgotten what it looks like. Jasmine seems to have a lot of these drives queued up for repair, so I'm wondering if there's a common problem with them, and if mine is likely to stay fixed (assuming I ever see it again)? Thanks. --- Don Howard howard@crd.ge.com (518)387-5183 General Electric Corp. R&D, Schenectady, NY

My thanks to those who responded to my posting about my long gone Jasmine DirectDrive 100. Over the weekend I received a letter offering me the choice of waiting at least another 60 days for repair of my drive, or upgrading to 130 Mb for $200. Being tired of messing with this stuff, I opted for the upgrade. I've never been overly fond of my slow, expensive, clunky old Apple 20SC, but the damned thing has worked perfectly for several years.
