[net.wanted] Wanted: BNF for IGES and/or AutoCAD ASCII exchange formats

This request is posted for someone who does not have access to USENET.  Please
respond by mail to trope!mch (and not the submittor).

  Does anyone have a BNF grammar for either AutoCAD's .DXF exchange
  format or for IGES ASCII exchange formats?  We are trying to avoid
  re-inventing the wheel as we build a postprocessor to extract features
  from AutoCAD drawings.  Any information would be greatly appreciated
  (even, "we tried, and it can't be done", for instance!)
