I am looking for recommendations for a text editor that has the
power of the UNIX environment behind it. This means I'd like it
to be able to recognize "regular expressions", metacharacters, do
things such as what "grep", "sed", etc can do.
It needs to be a DA (desk accessory) and low cost (free would be
great).
If you know of such a beast, please let me hear about it. If you
don't or if none exists, but you are a programmer on the Mac,
you may want to think about this as a project. 8>)
