[comp.sys.mac] What can I do with 256K SIMMs?

jacquemin-michel@CS.YALE.EDU (Michel Jacquemin) (12/03/89)

I recently bought 4 1MB SIMMs to upgrade 2 Mac Plusses to 2.5MB. I
was wondering whether there was anything useful I can do with the 4
256KB SIMMs that I will remove from the Macs (short of selling them
for a ridiculous price). In particular, how much hassle would it
be to hack them up on a Mac 128K board? If anybody has done this,
I'd like to hear about it.

I'm going to have a couple of the 1/4Meg SIMMs made into earrings for
someone, just in time for Christmas.

Good idea ... my brother-in-law did this for his girl-friend and my wife ....
