Two questions: 1. I have installed Blackbox 1.5 on a MacII with a 2 page monitor. I like the Star-Trek-like screensaver, but I can't seem to load applications into the application dock. Does anyone have any hints on this? 2. What are MacsBug and Virtual? Thomas

MacsBug is a memory-resident debugger and programmer's tool that is distributed by (I believe) APDA. It automatically comes up when there is a system error to tell you what's wrong and let you fiddle around in memory to see WHY it went wrong. Virtual is one of the most useful programs I've ever bought, especially when you consider that it's the ONE thing that's running just about all the time I have my computer on. It works on a Mac II, IIx, IIcx, IIci, SE/30, or Plus or SE with 020 or 030 accelerator, and it lets you use hard disk space as virtual memory. It convinces the computer that it has more RAM than it has. The new version, 2.0, allows you to use up to FOURTEEN megabytes of RAM at once. Imagine having 14 megs to use in MultiFinder? I can load a dozen programs in and STILL have room for a dozen more, and switch between them instantly. For more information on this one, call Connectix, Virtual's publisher, at 415-324-0727. -- Mark H.
