GREETINGS FROM THE "Macintosh Yellow Pages"

Dear Macintosh enthusiast:

First I would like to thank you for your time and your attention.

We are a small startup company out of MIT. Because we saw only
inefficient ways of listing products in the Macintosh community, we
decided to create a new medium to do it efficiently. Our goal is to
create a new, complete and user friendly directory for Macintosh
users. We call it the "Macintosh Yellow Pages."

The "Macintosh Yellow Pages" is a marriage of the traditional yellow
pages book and the user-friendly capabilities of hypercard. Because
the format for the yellow pages is Hypercard, you can access any
major product, company, or service for the Macintosh with the ease
of clicking on your mouse.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!
You can help us introduce this new service to the Macintosh
community by posting this file on your local bulletin boards.

We love to hear your feedback. Please write us and give us your
opinions and/or suggestions. In return, we will put your group's
name on our Priority-One list and always inform you about any
updates or improvements before anyone else knows about them.

Thank you for your support.

Laura Marmorstein
Product Manager

                       FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Boston, Mass. - Digital Media Publications, Inc. this month
announced the most advanced product directory ever published for the
Macintosh called the "Macintosh Yellow Pages."

The "Macintosh Yellow Pages" is an electronic directory of all major
Macintosh products. Included is a comprehensive listing of
Macintosh software, hardware, handbooks, magazines, user groups, and
dealers. An extensive indexing system enables the user to quickly
look up any information using a wide variety of synonyms.

In addition to a very intuitive user interface, an animated tutorial
with full-feature music is also built in. The animated tutorial
alone is an entertaining treat.

The "Macintosh Yellow Pages" is available to all Macintosh users
FREE until December 31, 1989. After the deadline, users may order
the same product directly from the publisher or from local dealers
for $39.95. According to Laura Marmorstein, Product Manager:

The new "Macintosh Yellow Pages" is a comprehensive
source of information and a time-saver for all Mac
users. It instantaneously puts all the Macintosh-related
     information under your fingertips.
