While randomly scanning through comp.sys.mac a couple of months ago I ran across a series of articles regarding terminal emulation programs and screen update speed. It appeared that quite a few update the screen very slowly making their use with some of the high speed modems available now a real bottleneck. One of the articles mentioned that part of the problem was that many of the terminal emulation programs was that they were painting the screen one character at a time instead of waiting till a larger chunk of text was available to paint. After a lot of back and forth comments about the subject, the person who'd originally posted the question regarding terminal emulator performance, posted a summary saying s/he had found a very nice, fast, etc. terminal emulator. I diligently forwarded all those articles to a Mac user friend of mine (I'm not a Mac user myself), but he managed to destroy his mail box and lost all the notes. Does anyone have any of the notes I mentioned above? Specifically the summary? Please email me responses. If I get enough me toos, I'll just bounce the articles back onto comp.sys.mac. Thanks for your help and time. Casey
