I once tried to use Apple's standard HD Backup with a ram disk installed. HDB tried to backup my entire hard disk to the ram disk. Apparantly after the ram disk was full, it ejected it and waited for a new disk to be inserted. Since ejecting a ram disk is a no-op, it just immediately started on the "next" disk. It was a real pisser to watch. Not very useful, but it certainly was fast! Now I use Sum II. It's not bad, but I wish there was some way to tell it *not* to back up certain folders. -- Roy Smith, Public Health Research Institute 455 First Avenue, New York, NY 10016 {att,philabs,cmcl2,rutgers,hombre}!phri!roy -or- roy@alanine.phri.nyu.edu "The connector is the network"
