Mac II ci with an Apple CD Rom through its scsi port. Vanilla 6.0.4 system. Apple CDRom driver. All works fine -- cdrom works great -- when we run it without the "Foreign File Support" icon in the system folder. But the Mac won't boot (system crash) when I try to run it with the CDRom Foreign File Support. System is straight from the box ... not two hours old. We need the foreign file support, since we want to read ISO 9660 CDRoms. Any ideas? Suggestions on reading ISO 9660 CDRoms? This, as I recall, is a known bug - the IIci is incompatible with the Foreign File INIT. Funny Apple didn't test their own products with {their new CPU, huh? :) Your only solution is to wait for a fix from Apple. Since Apple has no customer support, see your dealer (HAHAHAHAHA). -Russ
