[comp.sys.mac] Graphics editting of scanned pictures

lnolan@mdcbbs.com (12/12/89)

What is the best Mac software to get for manipulating (bit editing, scaling,
etc.) images that are scanned in from an Apple Scanner using Apple's Applescan
software? I want to be able to take the images and paste them into MS Word 4.0
and into Interleaf publisher on the Mac and right now only have MacDraw and
Hypercard with which to manipulate the scanned images. It will run on a mac
IIcx with 8Mb of memory and a 80Mb disk using a RasterOps 19" color monitor.

Greetings,

If you dealing with B&W and/or greyscale images, you should probably take a
look at Letraset's ImageStudio, Silicon Beach's Digital Darkroom, and even
SuperMac's PixelPaint 2.0 or PixelPaint Professional.
