Regarding my last posting concerning Microsoft WORD 4.0 and saving files as text... um... never mind. It turns out that to enable the File Format button (which let's you select the file format to save under), you need to have the "Full Titles" option turned on. No prob. My mistake. -- John T. Microsoft's mistake for having the User Interface From Hell (probably (tm)).
Whoever would get the idea that having or not having a button, or being able
to type formulas, or ..., could possibly have something to do with turning on
"full menus"??
And please, don't say RTFM or anything. I hate applications with that novel
way of copy protection (unuseable without studying the manual for half an hour
daily)...
