Howdy Mac World. I am not a subscriber to this Newsgroup but would like some information. I am working ona software project with a group in Guam and would like to find a way to mail binary stuff to them. I am using a Sun/UNIX system and they are using Mac II's. Are there Mac versions of software such as uuencode, uudecode, shar, and tar? I knothat Mac's have something called BinHex but I dont know if that tool allows multiple files and things like that. Another thing that would be nice is compress and uncompress to use before the uuencode. Can anyone help with this? An ftp location and what to get would be nice. Remember, I am not a subscriber so send your help directely to my mail address. #!/bin/sh #-----------------------------------------------------------------------# echo Bill Thorson thorson@typhoon.atmos.colostate.edu echo Dept of Atmospheric Science echo Colorado State University echo Ft.
