[comp.sys.mac] 256-color paint program demo posted

bwb@andante.UUCP (Bruce Ballard) (12/19/89)

I've just posted to comp.binaries.mac a live demo of Easy Color Paint,
Version 1.0, a low-cost, high-quality 256-color painting program for the Mac.
Now availble for $39, Version 1.0 extends some pre-commercial versions
and incorporates many of the suggestions and requests of those users.

Version 1.0 is being shipped in an attractive full-color box that shows
the screen during program execution and lists features of the program.
Included are a 32-page User's Guide, sample color pictures painted with
the program, and a "hi-tech coloring book" of black and white pictures
specially edited to be easily colorizable using the bucket tool
(this lets new users get started creating awesome color pictures).

The demo gives unlimited functionality, but it won't save files and
it will quit painting after 3 minutes (the application stays up
to let you poke through the menus to explore the capabilities).

If you decide to order, send $39 to
   Creative Software, 55 Clinton Avenue, New Providence N.J. 07974
   or call 1-800-367-6899 for immediate shipment w/ Visa or MC.

Features include:
* 17 tools (standard painting tools, plus eyedropper, triangle, diamond)
* coloring modes (copy, blend, transparent, etc.)
* user-defined patterns (up to 38)
* user-settable parameters
* on-line help
* adjustable brush sizes and shapes
* many, many tool variations via the menubar
* boss mode (close all windows and hibernate)
* reads PICT and b/w MacPaint(tm) files, writes PICT files
* communicates with other applications via the clipboard

Requires System 6.0.2 or later, 1MB RAM, Finder or MultiFinder.
Runs on any color Mac, also the SE, SE/30, and the Mac Portable.
