[comp.sys.mac] Spanish dictionary

reyes@cunixf.cc.columbia.edu (Alex Reyes) (12/19/89)

Could someone kindly inform me what if any types of spanish dictionaries
are available for a mac. I checked my recent Macwarehouse cataloq and
could not find any. Any info would be much appreciated

Both Microsoft and Claris will sell you foreign language dictionaries
you can use with their products-

Microsoft charges $75, and they send you three disks with several languages
(french and spanish at least, i'm not sure what else). You can call their
Info center (800)426-9400 to ask about them or order them.

Claris charges $49 for each dictionary; again i don't know what they've
got besides french and spanish (that's all i was interested in when i was
looking). Their number is: (800)628-2100.

I don't know if T/Maker or Ashton-Tate have foreign language dictionaries,
and i also don't know how big MS and Claris' dictionaries are.

Hope this helps...
