I personally have both. I have a Mac SE, which I plan on getting rid of and getting a Mac IIci. I also have a 8088 and another 386 20 MHz on order. I really have seen too many of these conversations that it really annoys me to see this type of conversation. Different people have different needs and for certain tasks, particular computers are easier to use. Leonard Erikson seems not to be very knowledgeable in the Mac world being that what that quote that he posted ment was that the Mac can handle 2 monitors at one time in that if you move the mouse off of one monitor it will appear on the other one. Each computer has its strong points. ie. The Mac is easier to do papers and basically presentation material. It is much easier to learn. The IBM, on the other hand, I find very much easier to program as well as doing number crunching much more efficiently. It just depends on what you want and what you are willing to spend on it. Just remember it is not really how good the computer can be but rather how good the person using the computer can be. I use both of my computer very much and that is why I am getting better ones in both senses. Please get familiar with both systems if you wish to have a debate because it is not until everyone knows what they are talking about that this can be an intelligent conversation. Rich
