I assume this cannot be done, since no one has, but why not ask?
Can the default "small icon" that Multifinder puts in the menu bar be
changed? Or are we stuck with the small icon version of the normal app.
icon? It seems like there should be a way to override which small icon
is used, so we'd get a more clear symbol for the app. (this would be handy
in the Finder's Small Icon view, as well.)
Like I said, since the programmers haven't done it, I assume it can't be
done. But maybe it's just that nobody asked... (I'll try anything with
ResEdit!)

Thanks to a bunch of people, including Steve Hix & Mike Liveright, who
wrote to tell me about "Aesthete", an INIT which replaces the small icons
of applications that are used under Multifinder with better ones.
Unfortunately, I just discovered a problem: Word 4.0 will not load if Aesthete
was loaded at startup time. This could be a conflict with some other INIT,
as I run a bunch of 'em, but since everything worked fine before, I'm just
dumping Aesthete. Oh well!
Ciao,
